Jason Ballou, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Ballou, a Southern California native, graduated from Loma Linda School of Dentistry. He has dedicated his education and career toward delivering optimal dentistry to his patients.
Over the years he has continued his education in many different dental disciplines. Dr. Ballou earned his fellowship with the Misch International Implant Institute and the Academy of General Dentistry. His extensive multi-disciplinary training has enabled him to practice “whole person care”. By offering whole person care, Dr. Ballou’s patients are given the opportunity to choose the absolute best treatment options.
Dr. Ballou is continually striving to enhance his knowledge and expertise so he may offer up to the minute technology and treatment techniques. His passion for art is demonstrated through his creativity and attention to detail in creating healthy, beautiful smiles. Dr. Ballou and his wife live locally in Mission Viejo.

Tina Nevala, Office Manager

Tina, our Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator, comes to us with over 12 years experience in the dental field. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she moved to Southern California in 2007. Tina began her career as a chairside assistant which has given her extensive knowledge in both the clinical and administrative aspects of dentistry.
Tina will guide you through the new patient process starting with your initial phone call all the way through to your treatment plan. She will also assist you with making financial arrangements and work directly with your insurance company to ensure you received maximum benefits.
Tina’s upbeat and caring personality shows through with every interaction. She loves seeing the changes that dentistry can make and the impact it has on the patient’s lives and health.

Amanda Phillips, Dental Assistant

Amanda is a native of Southern California. She grew up in San Diego and moved to Orange County in 2010. She has over 9 years of dental assisting experience. She has worked in many different dental settings, including Oral Surgery/Implants, Endodontics, Cosmetic and Pediatric Dentistry. Amanda loves her career and enjoys seeing the difference dentistry makes in the lives of her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising and spending time with her family.

Jana Hale, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jana graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been a dental hygienist in Orange County ever since. Jana joined our practice in May 2007. Having lived in the Saddleback Valley her entire life, she loves getting to know her patients, many of whom she has crossed paths with.
Jana actively furthers her education by attending the latest seminars in periodontal therapy. She is quite passionate about treating her patients, continually educating them in the latest technologies available to improve their oral health. She loves being a dental hygienist and truly cares about her patients. She encourages her patients toward the most optimum dental health through positive reinforcement, education and a very genuine, caring nature.
She regularly visits classrooms in the community to teach children about dental health and is committed to educating our youth on the importance of dental health. Jana is married and has a beautiful daughter, Olivia.
